About Me

Hey there, I'm Emily Rudolph, an up-and-coming standup comedian based in San Francisco. Someone wrote that I’m known for my “sharp wit and offbeat humor” so I’ve decided to keep saying that.

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, I relocated to the Bay Area in 2018. My journey into comedy started when I was laid off from my full-time writing gig in the tech world just five months after moving here. (Plot Twist. Am I right?) Luckily, I landed on my feet and started slinging drinks as a server/bartender. Drawing on my roots as a slam poet back in Arizona, I found myself seeking out that next big laugh at every table I served.

These days, you can catch me at Alameda Comedy Club, Cobb’s Comedy Club, and House of Comedy AZ. I've been honored to share the spotlight with comedy icons like Rich Voss and host for stellar headliners such as Alex Hooper, Corey Rodriguez, Paul Farahvar, and April Macie. Recently, I competed as a finalist in the Roast Battle Bay Area Championship as well as a semi-finalist in Arizona’s Funniest Person with a Day Job Contest (2024). One of my proudest moments has been headlining Cobb’s Comedy Club for the first time in February 2024.

“Fresher than newly picked fruit from the garden, her talent can’t be denied as she’s set to headline one of the biggest comedy clubs in the country, and this is just the beginning."
